Back to Block Wave YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Block Wave, an Android puzzle game published by Inque Labs, handles game data and third-party advertising.

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Applicable to Block Wave for Android

At a glance: Block Wave does not require an account to play. High scores and preferences are stored on the device. Google AdMob may collect device and advertising data to serve ads; regional privacy controls are available where required.

1. Who we are and scope

Block Wave (Android package com.blockwave) is published by Inque Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy describes information processed when you use the Block Wave mobile application (“App”). Our publisher contact is listed at the end of this document.

The App is an endless, single-player block puzzle. An account, email address, name or phone number is not requested to play. Google and other service providers may process information as described below.

2. What information is processed

Information stored locally by the App

Block Wave uses on-device MMKV storage to retain your best score, sound and vibration preferences, selected visual theme, and a timestamp used to limit the frequency of interstitial ads. Current gameplay state, such as the board and combo, is generally held in app memory during play. These local settings are not uploaded to an Inque Labs account server by the reviewed game code.

Information processed by advertising services

The App integrates Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner, interstitial and optional rewarded advertisements. Depending on your device, location, permissions, advertising configuration and choices, the SDK and advertising partners may process the Android advertising ID or other permitted identifiers, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), ad views and interactions, app/device information, diagnostic events and fraud-prevention signals. The App developer does not receive a direct list of identifiable users from this SDK.

We do not provide a game account registration form, collect in-game messages or request photos, precise GPS location, microphone, contacts or camera access in the reviewed Android source.

3. Advertising and third parties

Advertisements help support Block Wave. The App uses Google AdMob for banner ads, interstitial ads at eligible game breaks, and an optional rewarded ad offering a continue/revive when available. Rewarded ads are initiated by the player's choice to watch them.

Google and participating advertising partners may collect and share data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and (where permitted) personalization. The types of processing may vary by region and your consent choices. For details, see Google Privacy Policy and Google's partner disclosure information .

The reviewed source does not include a separate game analytics, sign-in, payment or cloud-save SDK. If the App's integrated services change, this policy will be updated.

4. Consent and advertising choices

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check for applicable ad-consent requirements and show a consent form when available and required. Advertising requests are conditioned on the UMP SDK's canRequestAds eligibility result.

In the App's Settings → Ad Privacy Choices, you can open Google's privacy options form when Google indicates it is required for your device or region. You may also control or reset Android advertising preferences through your device's settings. In some regions, ads may remain contextual or non-personalized, and certain processing may still occur for measurement, safety, security or legal compliance.

For Google's advertising controls, visit My Ad Center . The App needs network connectivity to load ads or any required consent form; core block-puzzle play does not require an account.

5. Android permissions

The Android manifest in the reviewed game source requests these permissions:

PermissionWhy it is used
INTERNETAdMob advertising and relevant consent communication.
VIBRATEOptional feedback during gameplay, controlled by the vibration setting.
AD_IDAccess to the Android advertising identifier where permitted by platform settings and applicable law.

The app does not request location, contacts, storage/media, microphone or camera permissions in its current main Android manifest.

6. Children's privacy

Block Wave does not ask players to enter their name, date of birth, or contact details to play. Advertising SDKs can process data as described above. The intended age groups and any Google Play Families eligibility are determined by the publisher's actual target-audience declarations and compliant advertising configuration; this policy is not an age gate or a substitute for those settings.

Parents or guardians with a question about a child's privacy may contact us at the email below.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local data: The saved best score and game settings remain on your device until changed or cleared. The in-game Settings screen offers Reset High Score, which clears the stored best score only. To erase the remaining local App data, use Android Settings → Apps → Block Wave → Storage → Clear storage or uninstall the App. Android backup is disabled in the current main manifest.

Ad-related data: Google and its advertising partners determine the retention and deletion of data held on their systems under their own policies. Clearing local app storage does not necessarily delete data retained independently by those third parties.

8. Data security

Block Wave keeps gameplay preferences and scores in Android's app-private local storage rather than in an Inque Labs game account. Google provides its own security protections for SDK processing. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we control, but no method of storage or transmission is guaranteed completely secure. This privacy page is intended to be served over HTTPS.

9. Your rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, withdraw consent, object to processing or complain to a competent supervisory authority. Please contact us for questions or requests concerning data we control. For information retained independently by Google or advertising partners, their own controls and privacy-rights request procedures may apply.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as features, advertising SDKs, regulations or our privacy practices change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it from time to time.
